Kolowert - Volhynia. On July 14, the Lord summoned
his weary slave, brother Christof BREITKREUZ, to his
eternal home. The good brother was born in 1836 in
Kalinowa, Poland. At the age of 26, he entered into
matrimony with Luise RAUCH. After 9 years of matrimony
already, the Lord recalled her and brother Breitkreuz
left behind with 4 little children, 2 sons of them are
still alive. In his second marriage, he lived with
Justine DOBERSTEIN for 40 years. The Lord gave them
12 children, 5 sons and 2 daughters are still alive.

Reborn to a living hope on March 21, 1880, he has been
baptized by brother Marx in Lucinow. He served the
congregation of Lucinow as deacon. "To work silently
and not to shine" was the finest aim of his life.

During his last 6 years he was partially paralysed and
therefore had to leave his work of a deacon for others.

He leaves behind his companion who brightened his time of
suffering in love and self-denial, 7 lawful children and
2 stepchildren, a brother, a sister and 10 grandchildren.
His live was rather turbulent, his end peace.

The burial took place on July 16. Brother Jeske comforted
the bereaved according to John 12, 26, and the author of
this one talked about John 5, 25-29.
