The Computer Science department at BYU will host a tech-based family
history colloquium on 8 Nov 2001. All who are interested in how family
history research technology can be improved are invited to attend.
Refreshments will be served and admission is free. A variety of research
issues are planned, ranging from digitizing historical documents to
understanding, extracting, indexing, integrating, organizing, and
delivering data contained in all kinds of historical source documents.
