The mysterious small village of Sokolec (not shown on any maps) is on the road from Kanibrody to Beszyn. The Kanibrody school yard is on one side, and Sokolec on the other. My mother recalls a few of the neighbours with surnames HARMEL (sp?) and SCHEMMING (sp?)
