I have made a discovery, which should bring hope to some of us who have been unable to find our ancestors on the internet. 
Although my uncle Robert Ittermann does not show up on the digital library, his record of birth shows up on the St. Petersburg Film for the year 1882. I am not saying this, to disparage in any way,the hard work done by the thousands of volunteers who have put the internet program together. All I am saying is that there is hope for some of us by going back to the original films in the Family History Centers and finding gold. 
I take my hat off to the many volunteers who worked on the digital library program. I amazes me that so few pages were missed.
