Search engines are an important asset to genealogists. GOOGLE has a new
feature that may be of interest to you.

You can now do search using a "slide show" system by going to
<http://labs.google.com/gviewer.html>http://labs.google.com/gviewer.html

Each slide offers a quick view of the source page.

I can envision many advantages of this. However there can be some
disadvantages as well. For example:

If your search using the standard system happens to hit on a pornographic
page, you could skip over reading it by recognizing the content from the
brief description provide. With the slide show, the main page will open.

Also, every page on the slide becomes part of your history record in your
browser as a page visited. You may not want to have such an extensive
record on your computer.
