[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Names from Volhynia

I have noticed that I recognize many of the names published on this
site (Sonntag, Breitkreutz, etc)
because these families came from Volhynia to Canada, some of them in
late 1800's, early 1900's.

Many of these families settled in the Prairie Provinces of Canada
(Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta).
I grew up in the Interlake region of Manitoba, about 150 miles north
of Winnipeg. I have two Heritage books
with histories of some of the families (not all of them, sadly). Most
of the history is from their time in Canada
but some mention the year they came here, and some mention place
names. Many of them settled in an area
called Neuheim (newhome).

I will do lookups if this information interests anyone.
