SURNAMES:

MATCHINSKI (current spelling)
other spellings: Maczinsky (spelled this way in the St. Pete files in 1868),
Matschinski, Matschinsky, Mattschinski, Matschulski
Adolph had a brother Michael and a sister Wilhelmine. Michael was 20 years
older. Wilhelmine was unmarried in 1868. Parents supposedly died in 1845. Am
looking for Adolph's parents. Possibly in Bromburg, Prussia.

Freidrich Wilhelm (second son) came to this country for the second time on 23
August 1898 on the Freidrich der Grosse and went to live in Chicago with
cousins. ( I believe this to be the Fergins). His wife and three children
accompanied him as well as two of Michael's children, Ferd (17)  and Anna
(21).

STROSCHEIN- Wilhelmina w. of Adolph Maczinsky. I believe that members of the
Stroshein family moved to Manitoba pre WWI.

FERGIN- Rehinhart m. 19 Sept 1878, Rozyszcze Rosalie SCHMIDT her mother was
Amalie MATSCHINSKI (b circa 1830).The Fergin family came to Chicago in
1893/4.

FILLMAN- Anna FILLMAN  m. Charles Matchinski her parents were Gottlieb FILLMAN
and Henrietta KRUEGER

RAPP-? m. Pauline MATCHINSKI in Russia and stayed there. Possibly a son of
Martin RAPP and Julianne ?. This family also married into the STROSCHEIN
family.

SCHWARZ- Karl m.? went to Manitoba, Canada. Children were Marianne, Ernestine,
Amalia, Adam, Bertha.

Place of birth and parents. Any siblings. Possibly b. Poland or
Poland/Russia.

SHAFFER, Amelie b. 3 Apr 1877, Poland d. 9 May 1949, MI
Father Fred Schaefer. No other information. Spelling approximate. First child
born 18 Apr 1898 Chicago, IL.
