Hi,

There was also a big push after WWI, when Canadian Mennonites
borrowed millions to bring over anyone they could from the railway.
The railway had the rights to vast areas of land which they had
settled. This also paid for their ship passage. They kept records of
everyone. For a very small fee they will put the copy of records
online for you. They still have alot of work transcribing the data.

These records contained
last place of residence in Russia
departure, ship, and port of entry information
list of relatives already in Canada or the US
		where these relatives lived
first place of residence in Canada
There are also notes on many records of who married who after
they settled in Canada.

Check this site out for what has been compiled so far.
Thanks to Judith Rempel and her fellow workers for working on this
valuable project.
