[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] trip to Ukraine

My Grandmother Emma Betz was born in 1897 in Dzhancoi Crimea to Johann
Betz and Katarena Wallewine 1852-1946.  She was the last of about nine
children. All the other children (Katherin, Magdelina, Regina, Rosa,
Alex,Johanna, Friedrich, Johann)  were born in Besserabia. I have traced
them to the towns of Jacobstal and Matheldendorf. Do you know if there is
anything remaining of the old German village Dzhancoi.  My great
Grandfather was the Blacksmith and Burgermiester and led the village to
escape in 1909. I have the passport and ship records. Alex was in the
Russian army and stayed and did his term and than joined the family later
in Canada. Any information would be helpful.  Thanks Diane
