Some of the documents in our family show on both mother and fathers records as "Prussian by Birth". Fathers family from Emden, Germany and mothers from Czarnikau and Kolo-Babiak Poland. Does this mean nothing more than the area of birth? Would appreciate knowing the answer. Carol
