Thank you Jerry for offering your experience. I was waiting for you since you know more about Volhynia. I also figured Cholm is Chelm and since I study this area rather intensively, I am not aware of a Wilhelmswald anywhere near Chelm or Lublin. The Lublin Lutheran Parish also does not list a Wilhelmswald as a town with a Lutheran church. With a name like that it had to be a German colony.
 
Margrit - maybe your contact does not have all his facts straight on this location.
See how he responds to what we discussed here and you will get an idea how much he really knows about his location infromation.
