Justin,

Gary Warner recently discovered the URL for the Prussian State Archives in
Berlin, and apparently there are military records there. If you visit
http://www.gsta.spk-berlin.de, click on the button in the upper right
corner, "Kontakt", and then try "E-mail Anfrage". This opens a form for you
to fill out with your question. We're just now putting this link onto the
SGGEE website, and you may be the first to try out the GSTA's services.
They've told me that their staff knows some English, but don't expect an
answer in anything but German. It would be nice if you'd let us all know
how it goes. Good luck!
