I have done some research with rolls of microfilm at the National Archives but
alas my Gustav Brach did not show up on these Prussian Military Records.

Go to www.archives.gov/
then search,  type in Prussian Military Records, and you'll get many
references.  Go for the first with regards to Captured German & Related
Records and you'll find many references.  If this doesn't work, let me know
and I'll check out the series numbers on my next trip out to Pittsfield or
Waltham, Mass. dianagk at earthlink.net
