For those who may have ancestors who lived in Alberta, Canada, the following
website has digitized local history books and newspapers.  Searching for a
name using the keyword search under local histories, will give you all
appearances of that name in all of the digitized local history books.
Clicking on the page number given in the search results enables you to view
the page.  In some of the history books, there is a listing of each section
of land and who owned it.  The search results will give you these pages.
This can be useful if you need to find out the legal description of land
owned by an ancestor which can be then used to look up census or land title
records.
