[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Labor Camps

Dick,
>From what I have heard, some of those sent to Labor Camps before or during 
WWI were in some cases allowed to return to their land only to be "displaced" 
again some years later. Others seemed to have been held for over 50 years or 
more if they survived.  Were they finally considered "rehabilitated" because they 
were too old and feeble to be a problem?
