I made a misstatement in a recent post that should be corrected. I stated that the Russian Army drove the German colonists out of Volhynia in 1915. The Army DID give the orders, but the actual driving out was done by local officials and police, apparently often with the help of Cossacks. There, now I can sleep! Dick Benert
