Dear Sirs,

I have already for a long time tried to find the origin of my grandmother's father, who came to Viipuri, Finland about 1850 "from Poland".
He belonged to German Evangelical Church and was probably born in the year 1812.
I have studied so far that he was probably born in Gombin or Ilow area (Emilow?), but I have not yet found the Church records.

Now I would like to request, whether someone of you have studied the birth records of about 1812 of the parish of Ilow for example?
I have not any other information of Johann Gottlieb (Bogomil) Mallas, except that he "came from a horse breeding farm" and that his occupation was "soldier" (medic).
