[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Christmas in Volhynia

One wishes that our ancestors had shared with us some of their holiday  
traditions they observed while living in Volhynia, and in Poland as well.   It 
would be nice to know if they carried on some of their German traditions, or  
maybe even added some that was popular where they were living at the time - in  
Poland and in Volhynia.   And, then what may have been carried on when  they 
came to North America.  
 
I would like to know if anyone on this listserv could give us this  
information for the record.  It would also make a nice "story" to include  in our SGGEE 
Journal some time.  So - please, if you have any information  from family or 
wherever, please take time to share it on this listserv for  now.
