[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] visit to Poland

Hello fellow listers,

I wonder if any of you are "birders"?

My husdand and I are planning a trip to Poland in the spring of 2006 to look
for some of the 400 species of birds found in the forests, marshes, and
mountains of Poland.

While there, we will do some genealogy.  My mother was born in Borki, Poland
and confirmed by Rev. Schmit in the Lutheran church in Gombin.

We are thinking that some people with roots in Poland might also be birders
and join us.

Anyone interested?
