There is an Immigration History Research Center at the University of
Minnesota.  The link below will (I hope) get you to the genealogy page of
their website.  They frankly admit that genealogy is not their strong point,
but people attending the FEEFHS/SGGEE convention should probably know about
this Center anyway.  A good browse of their website might prove to be
interesting for some.
