FEEFHS is a major international genealogical federation consisting of many
societies and individuals interested in central and east European
genealogy.  Over 90 presentations at the conference will cover a wide
variety of ethnic topics geared toward genealogists at the beginner,
intermediate, and advanced level.

Participating societies represent the following ethnic, religious, and
regional interest  groups:

Austrian        Belarussian     Czech           East
Frisian    Finnish         German

Hungarian       Jewish          Kashubian       Latvian         Lithuanian

Polish          Pomeranian      Romanian        Rusin           Russian

Swiss           Ukrainian

Bohemian Germans                Bukovina Germans        Galician Germans
Volhynian Germans               Germans from Russia

Co-sponsors are the Minnesota-based Germanic Genealogy Society (GGS) and
the Canadian-based Society for German Genealogy in Eastern Europe (SGGEE),
which concentrates on Germans in Volhynia and Russian Poland. Additional
support will be provided by Family History Centers of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints, Minnesota Historical Society, and the
Immigration History Research Center.
