Hi!  I am a new member looking for information about my 
great-great-grandfather.  He was from Konigsberg, East Prussia (later 
Kaliningrad).  He was living in Charleston, South Carolina with my 
great-great-grandmother and their baby daughter, when he left on a trip and 
disappeared.  His last name was Rauschining-Hubach.  I don't think he ever 
became a U.S. citizen.  I also know that he was Lutheran.  We have their 
marriage certificate and my great-grandmother's birth certificate as records 
as well.

Does anyone know how I would find records regarding him?  I have done some 
internet research but I can't seem to find any archives for Konigsberg.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  My husband speaks fluent German and I 
have Polish and Russian speaking friends that could help with foreign 
sources of information.
