Hi Tine,

It's nice to hear from someone whose family comes from a Turek area.

I live in Turek. If you need any help, do not hestitate to ask.

  Kind regards and Happy Easter!

  Hi,

I am searching information on the surnames Graumann, Lindri(c)k (or possibly
Gendrik/Genrik) and Dzikowska of the Turek area.

I have several old documents in which the surnames unfortunately are spelled
very differently. But what I know is the following:

Pauline Graumann (my g grandmother) was the daughter of Josef Graumann and
his wife Auguste Lin(d)rick (or possibly Gendrik/Genrik).

Josef was a miller. He deceased in Obrzebin (near Turek) on 26 Feb, 1902.
Auguste deceased in Obrzebin on 14 Mar, 1874 and her husband married again.

Josef's parents were Wilhelm Graumann and Franziska Dzikowska.

In my family it is told that my g grandmother's ancestors originally were
from Swabia and that they came to the Turek (?) area because of the
manifesto of Catherine the Great. Some of Pauline's relatives - I don't know
their last names - emigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and to South America.

Thanks for every further information,
Tina
