Uroma2005 at aol.com .  A rough translation follows 
below.  Perhaps one of our readers in Germany can 
give her information about the EWZ records which 
may help her.  Are any of our Canadian readers 
connected to Julius Hinz from Vancouver?

Family Hinz and Rinas / Rienas from Gottliebsdorf (Volhynia)

My name is Carola Hinz.  I am hoping to find help 
with my husband's ancestry for which we only have a small amount of data.

His grandmother - Emilie Rinas, born Jan 6, 1905 
in Gottliebsdorf;  died May 13 in Grosswilsdorf .  [assumed to be in Germany]

His grandfather - Ewald Hinz born Jan 6 , 1903 in 
Gottliebsdorf;  died somewhere in Russia, place unknown.

His great grandmother - Paula Müller  born Apr 25, 1865

His great grandfather - Samuel Rinas born Sep 23, 
1861  (I am not sure about the accuracy of the 
date as I checked the Odessa 3 database and found 
a Rinas and Rienas but no firm evidence connecting them.)

My father-in-law was born Nov 23, 1931 in 
Gottliebsdorf and said that his uncle, also known 
as Julius Hinz migrated to Canada in 1927 where he died in 1993 in Vancouver.

Perhaps you have a couple of hints for me.  With
