I have only been able to track my Donat family to abt 1805 with the 
following:

Wilhelm Donat abt 1805 and Anna Kristine Mueller abt 1811 (do not have 
birth, marriage or place of death for these).  The following is their son 
Heinrich.

Heinrich Donat b. 9 Jan 1840 in Augustopol, Wloclawek, Bydgoszcz, Poland 
married Karoline Kroening abt 1841 in Grodziska, Gostynin, Warszawa, Poland 
daughter of Heinrich Andreas Kroening (1817-) and Elisabeth Thiemer
(1806-1855)

Karoline Kroening sister Marianne Kroening was married to Andreas Kuehn on 
26, Dec. 1861 in Nowa Wies, Gostynin,

Heinrich and Karoline came to Neche, North Dakota area in 1898.  Heinrich 
died March 14, 1906.  Karoline remarried to a Jacob Hollinger of Bathgate, 
ND on April 29, 1908.  She died in 1922.

Heinrich and Karoline had 14 children with only 3 living at the time of the 
1900 ND Census.
1.  Pauline Donat (born 10 Nov. 1871 Debritza,Volhynia died 18 Feb 1966 
Altona Man.),   Married toRudolph Schaler, living in Neche, ND area.
2.  Emilie Donat 4 April 1866-9 Sept, 1940.  Born in Goren Maly, Gostynin, 
Warszawa, Poland married Adolf Drager (died 6, May 1928)in 1884 in Kries 
Rowno, Volhynia, Russia.  These are my great grandparents and immigrated to 
Neche, ND area in 1895 where they remained until 1908 when they came to the 
Saskatoon area of Saskatchewan.  Both are buried in Woodlawn Cemetary in 
Saskatoon.
3.  Ferdinand Donat b. March 1883- 13, April, 1910 buried in Lutheran 
Cemetary in Neche, ND.  Married Catherine Uhl on 25, Dec, 1903 in Lutheran 
Church in Gretna, Manitoba.   Had 2 children Henry born 1905, and daughter 
Margaret born 1908.  Catherine later remarried to Friedrick Stelzer on 1 
Jan, 1911.

Other children that have been identified of Heinrich and Karoline are:
1.  Ludwig b. 20, Aug. 1862 Goren Maly, Wloclawek, Bydgoszcz, Poland, no 
further information
2.  August Donat married Anna Dreger b. 14, July 1870 in
Matschulak/Moczulki, Rowno Parish, Volhynia Russia.  With son Rudolph Donat 
listed on 1901 Canadian Census and marriage certificate indicating he lived 
in Walhalla, ND in 1920 at time of his marriage to Emma Hasse.  Father 
August listed as deceased, but mother is not.
