When West Prussia was taken from Poland and incorporated into Prussia (Germany), Friedrich the Great conducted a Census of all those farming families in West Prussia (so he could tax them). That list is indexed online by Pastor Reuben Drefs at

and there you will find 3 Dills (note Dill could show up in various misspellings so take a good look). One was from your family
Dill, Hans     from     Rogowke          in the      Thorn area
the two others were Christain Dilll in Gostkowo in the Culmsee  area and
Heinrich Dill in Tiegenhoff up near Danzig.
