there is not one single DORNIEWSKI in the 
www.herby.com.pl/herby/indexslo.html database but 388 DORNIAK centered 
in the Gdansk and Torun wojewodships of late Westpreussen, and 169 
DORNOWSKI preferably in the Bydgosc and Gdansk Wojewodships. So how 
about a relation to the city of Torun (Thorn)? - There are 114 
TORUNIEWSKI centered in the Plock wojewodship! Somebody from Torun must 
have moved to the Plock area and founded this population.
