Originally I did download the beta version. As of 10/19 version 7.0.5730.11
was available. There is no reference to beta anymore.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926874. Ironically under technical issues
at the SGGEE site it suggests using the beta release of IE 7 to correct
another problem. I suggest someone more technically savvy, (Matt Warner?),
get in contact with MS. It does seem very specific to our site. Everything
else on the site seems to work except search results. Like everyone else I
use a lot of different search engines to do genealogy and shopping. They all
seem to work fine with IE7.

Since that software is not released yet, you must be using a Beta test
version. Your problem should be reported to them so that they can insure
that it is backwards compatible - though I question whether MS ever listens
to the users.

I hate to think about other issues that will come up once it is released
formally in the new year. Web designers will probably be busy for awhile
trying to make their sites compatible.
