I already tried the pradziad without success.
But now, with some new information from you and the mail list, I tried new
combinations.

If I search filtering by the Piotrkowskie province, I get no results for
Janow:

If I search filtering by Lubelskie province as Rita mentioned, I get some
"Janowiec" (no Alegata).

If I search with ALL but only filtering by Alegata, I get 2 results, one is
Janow, in the province of częstochowskie (?). Records only from 1869.

Remembering that Ferdinand and Caroline can be married in another place and
not Janow, it can be?

 Hi Again    A few months ago I was searching the
Alegata Records for this area.(Brzeziny and Rawa) I
have sent you what was told to me from Genealogy.com
on the Polish page. This is only a jpeg image but if
you type in the links (where it mentions Brzeziny) it
will take you to the Polish web site which will tell
which Alegata records are intact. I realize this is
all a steep learning curve for you but you'll get the
hang of it. And I see Rose has found another Janow and
this one looks very promising. It's a little annoying
though that there are so many. Let me know if you are
able to get to the legata Records. If not I can send
you a jpeg of these as well. Cheers Robert
