Lydia,

Yes, you can order and view any films in FHC's in almost anywhere in the world, as long as the FHC has film readers, which usually are the larger centers.

Go to http://www.familysearch.org/ scroll half down the page, type Italy in the box 'Find a Family History Center near your Home'. Most FHC's indicate the hours they are open.

AS far as I know Lutheran and Catholic records are filmed separately. In some places the Catholic churches did not allow filming, and other places welcomed filming because of the detioration of the church books.
It is possible if there was no Catholic church in Ludwigstal, your great grandfather and family may be recorded in the Lutheran records.

  Hi,

is it possible to view the microfilms also in every Family History Center
all over the world? I live in Italy.

My great grandfather Alexander Eberhardt was born in Brabander and lived
then in Ludwigstal a Lutheran Parish. His family was one of the few catholic
families in this village. He married at Goettland (it belongs to the Parish
of Ludwigstal) and I would like to see the microfilm of the marriage
records. Could it be that the Mormon´s do keep the catholic and also the
Lutheran church records on the same film?

  Thank you

  Lydia Eberhardt
