Does anyone know if there is a German equivalent of the Polish surname POBORSKI? I have a Gertrude Poborski married Michael Steinke (sometimes recorded as Kaminski in Polish church records) living in Gawrony, a German community, in the early to mid 1800's. They were Lutherans.
