I do not know where to find the Protestant church records for 1865 or
whether there still are any. 

 

For information about Militsch and Wirschkowitz look here. However, only in

There is a home county, location and source database. For Heinrich village
has, for example, even a local heritage book.

 

 

Family Search has filmed only the Protestant military community and Catholic
church records

Thank you for your replies.  I have found Duchawe/Duchowo on the Google map.
You tell me that the Lutheran parish is Wirschkowitz.  Is there a way that I
can access, or write for, the birth records so as to see if my grandmother,
Julianna Schmuland, born in 1860, appears in them.
