Since we're on the topic of translation....

Does anyone know of a program that will transcribe audio interviews into
text? I have some digitally recorded family reflections that would be good
to have in text form.

and you do NOT need to give up your favorite browser.

Having the translator as part of the browser itself, as in Google Chrome,
speeds up the process
of translation.

It is machine translation, so imperfect. If you see something that does not
make sense, hover your mouse
over the translated sentence, and you will see the original.

Chrome will also translate the emails that you receive in a foreign
language. all you need to do is open them up in a new, enlarged window.
