There seems to be a problem of gender here!  and it doesn't look like they were a couple since there is about 20 years between them.

I'd suggest a query to a local Vancouver Public Library to ask about obituaries for these people based on their dates of death.  There may be family/descendants mentioned.

It would be tough to help you until you get more information. Not impossible to help, but there is the potential for a huge waste of time because you don't have the facts that would narrow down the search.

Try to find out when they got to Vancouver -- 1920? 1950s? Or? And if you could take even a wild guess at their birthdates, that would make a search a bit more reasonable. Like, I wouldn't want to look in records from the 1990s if it turns out that they were born in the 1870s. I wouldn't want to look for them in the 1920s if they weren't even born yet. And so on.
