Adelheid: Checking www.familysearch.org under the present name of
Kaliningrad you will find the records which are available on microfilm;
there were a large number of churches in Koenigberg and if you are not aware
of which church your relatives attended you might want to start with film
1183599 item 3 which is Eric Krauses index to the births and marriages in 14
Koenigsberg churches.

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Koenigsberg Records

Hello all,
My greatgrandfather was originally from Koenigsberg, then the family moved
to Poland and evenutally settled in the middle to late 1800s in the Shitomir
area of Vohlynia.
Is there any way of accessing records from Koenigsberg now that it is under
Russian control?
Thanks,
Adelheid Bender
