Marvyl,

Others have given good advice about the location.  I just wanted to clarify one other point.  The reference to this location being in Poland only applies for the time period between WW I and WW II.  So an immigration record or other filled out say in 1925 would refer to the location as Poland. 

However, at the time of the events listed in your message, this region was part of Russia.
