In the "Kreisbuch Osterode, Ost Preussen by Klaus Buerger it says the
following about Grieben:
"1939- 107 Haushalte mit 497 Einwohner, davon 382 in Land-und
Forstwirtschaft, 26 in Industrie und Handwerk, 4 in Handel und Verkehr."
The Civil Registrars office is in Rauschken.
I hope that this helps to give you a further understanding of Grieben. I
have done some research in the Osterode district and visited some of the
Estates and villages.

Has someone here searched for ancestors in a place called Grzybinki (Klein
Grieben) in Poland?

 

I'll appreciate any comment about this place.
