Kathleen,

I am again including the rest of our mailing list, as others may be able
to help you more. There are at least two dozen places in Poland with
the name Bobrowniki. One of them is in the Lipno area- did you mention
that one because you know that is where he was from? I do not see any
filmed Lutheran records for that location near Lipno at the Family
History Library, or in the Pradziad database for the time period of
Gustav's birth, but others may be better at finding than me.

Who was Gustav traveling with when he arrived in the USA, and where were
they from? Do you know the birth, marriage or death places of any of
his siblings or parents? You need to narrow down where Gustav was
from, and family members were likely born in the same area.

Poland was part of Russia in the period in which your Gustav Badske was
born, thus it is called Russian Poland.

The surname Badske is unusual, at least to me. I would guess that you
should also be looking at any records that show the surname Badke or Badtke.
