Some of these are very large. If you can save a copy to a CD or a memory
stick take it to Staples. They have large format printers. Get it done on
plain paper and it will cost only a few dollars.

I tried to print that magnificent mapywig map, but could only get a corner
of it, at 30%. Sent it to a friend who's a whiz on computers - he couldn't
do any better. I have Windows XP. Any ideas? Thank you, Sigrid!

Marvyl,

Your ancestors are beyond the time frame of the current Volhynia St.
Petersburg (VKP) database. However, it is possible that someone on this
list more familiar with Volhynian research can help you. Kuty Zalesie is
north of Tuczyn (Tuchin) in Rowno parish. See the following maps:

http://www.sggee.org/members/PDFMaps/volhynia/VolF2003.pdf

There is also a Nowe Chotenka just north of Kuty Zalesie along the main
road. This could very well be your "Chotynka." Your ancestors most
likely came from these two villages. Someone else will have suggestions
about how to find some records.

Regards,
Sigrid Pohl Perry
