Hello Eveline,
23 km east of Lutzk and 1 km north of the H22 highway you find a settlement Sviriv [Ukr. Свірів, Russ. Свиров].
"Novaja Zemlja" simply means "New Land" and the infamous nuclear contaminated island is just one of a welter. Here it 
seems to be the name of a new-built colony.
In the 1910 Austrian map 43-51.jpg and the 1926 Polish map P45_S41_Kiwerce.jpg the village is spelled Swierów and 
sorrounded by several colonies.
