Randy, my forebears were in Harbin, China in the 1930s and I was able to
obtain information from the Archivist of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America, 8765 W. Higgins Road, Chicago, Illinois, USA

Does anyone know if the Lutheran Immigration Board documents that were
collected when they sponsored immigrants in the time around 1927 were saved?
Or any other information on the facts the board collected that might be of
help to family history research? My grandparents were supported by the board
so I'm curious if their papers would have any helpful information. Thanks!
Randy
