There are some in Library and Archives Canada's collections...

http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/lac-bac/results/all?FormName=Fed+Results&PageNum=1&SortSpec=score+desc&Language=eng&QueryParser=lac_&Sources=&Archives=&SearchIn_1=&Operator_1=AND&SearchIn_2=&SearchInText_2=&Operator_2=AND&SearchIn_3=&SearchInText_3=&MaterialDateOperator=after&MaterialDate=&ResultCount=5&SourceQuery=&Sources_1=amicus&Sources_2=mikan&Sources_3=genapp&Sources_4=web&soundex=&cainInd=0&SearchInText_1=Lutheran+Immigration+Board

It looks like they are on two microfilm from the looks of it - C-7389 and C-7390.  It's hard to say just what kind of information is on the microfilm. These films are part of the Employment and Immigration fonds - but these two deal with the Lutheran Immigration Board anyway.   Check the information on the LAC website to order the films by interlibrary loan - SOON, as this service may be shutting down.    http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/the-public/005-3000-e.html

GOOGLE  Lutheran Immigration Board Winnipeg and you'll get a hit for a book entitled    A History of Migration from Germany to Canada, 1850-1939 - and part of it is digitized and readable on the web.

Good luck!

Subject: [Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Lutheran Immigration Board

Does anyone know if the Lutheran Immigration Board documents that were collected when they sponsored immigrants in the time around 1927 were saved? Or any other information on the facts the board collected that might be of help to family history research? My grandparents were supported by the board so I'm curious if their papers would have any helpful information. Thanks!
Randy
