[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] ROBERT SCHILLER search

There plenty of Hammermeister's in Troszyn Niemiecki, and found in the Catholic records before the Lutheran Gabin church was established in 1832.

Borki is about 2 kilometers south west of Troszyn Polski, so people probably registered in Trozsyn Catholic too.

Regarding information about your Robert Schiller, I would say that finding a marriage record between Robert and Maria would give his place of birth. But I gather you have not been able find one. I do not see this couple in the Marriage indexes of Gabin Lutheran church records.
The Schiller name is not common in this Gabin area.

They may have married in the Volhynia region.

  Hello Craig,
only a small help but I think you'll like it.
I will attach the marriage record of Christian Schiller with Christina
  Erdmuta Janott
  ev.-augsb. church of Grodziec 1870 No. 25.
It is russian/kyrillic handwriting (because since 1868 this documents had to
  be written in russian language).
But you will see the names of Christian and Christine in latin ..

Buy the way: there are many Steinbrenner in Grodziec records
And: there is a birth record of a Christian Schiller in 1843. Don't know
  whether it is yours.
If yes: parents were Christian Schiller and Beate Bernt. One of godparents
  was also a Steinbrenner !
  Hannes
