I have a Henrietta (various spellings) Schmidtke (also various spellings) in
my ancestry.  She was born in 1861 in Poland.  If her name comes up in your
records I'd be most interested in hearing.  Her father's name was August
Schmidtke and her mother was Carolina Willand.

My great Grandfather Ludwig Schmidtke ( born 1852)  immigrated from
Klein Gluscha. We know nothing about his family, no sibling names or
parents names.
I found a death record for a 12 year old Julius  Schmidtke in 1877. The
record indicated he was born in Paroca Kalisch. His parents are Wilhelm
and Anna.
I'm thinking that even though Schmidtke is a very common name, that
there is a  chance this person may be  Connected to my Gr. Grandfather.
I'd like to look at records from the area where this person was born.

Does Paroca Kalisch mean parish, or a town ?    Any information about
where I should start looking would be appreciated.
