I neglected to mention in my previous email that the data from the Radke Lodz Trinity journals was entered using Legacy genealogical software. That made it possible to enter the data from the journals into family groups when applicable journal entries were available to do that. Secondly, the same data was later "merged" into SGGEE's Master Pedigree Database (MPD).
In the latter case if you search for a name in the MPD, you might find parents, siblings or spouses at the same time.

      Further to Jerry's info:
Because of the cooperation of the Edmonton Family History Center in providing copies of the Radke Journals for the extraction project, SGGEE provided them with the completed extraction on a CD. Whether the CD is available for viewing at the Center is not known.
The Radke Journal copies used for the extraction process are in SGGEE's library in Calgary.

These journals have been extracted and indexed on the SGGEE website in the Members Only section.

Message from Peter von Lipinsky for anybody interested in this subject.

A Mister Michael Radke , ( from the town of Cardston, Alberta, Canada ) transcribed all the entries from the Lodz Lutheran Church book for the years 1828 - 1851 ( 1850 is missing ) There are 3 more journals with the entries for the years 1852, 1853 and 1867. In total, there are 11 Journals, which are at the LDS Family History Center in Edmonton, Alberta. I looked at the Journals today and the first 3 Journal have a name index, after the church book entries at the back. The remaining 8 Journals only have the church book entries. All these entries have been transcribed from LDS library micro films. The film numbers are also listed in each Journal as well. I would guess that these 11 Journalsstarted to come into existence about 30 years ago, because it must have taken Mr. Radke many months to transcribe all the information. The Edmonton Family History Center received the Journals about close to 20 years ago. I can look up any name in these Journals if anybody is intere
     sted.
