Christian,

A possible link - maybe a long-shot but you never know.
My ancestors were from the Alexandria / Mariendorf / Tutschin area of Volhynia. They, and many others from there settled in the Neche, North Dakota area.
I have Schroeder's in my family tree, and there was a Schulz family in Neche.
According to the Neche family history book "Proudly We Speak" (1983):
Julius Henschel married Julia Drager in 1913. They farmed west of Neche (same as my family) before moving to nearby Bathgate, ND.
    Good Luck,
   Chris Menke
