In the late 1800s, when people immigrated to Volhynia how
did they travel? Did they walk, go by wagon or train? Did they take all their
family possessions or just the essentials as when immigrating to Canada or the
US?

If there were births or deaths on the way, were they be
registered in the nearest church or not registered anywhere?
