[Ger-Poland-Volhynia] Village Location

My grandmother's confirmation document lists her as being born in Rupland (b. 1896) yet elsewhere her birth place is given as Warsaw. 

Would Rupland be a village nearby or a district within Warsaw ... or does it have another meaning?

To note, this was written by a Luther pastor in Alberta, Canada therefore accuracy suspect.
