I am disappointed with the information for my matches at 23andme. Family Tree DNA is a much better service.
I have reviewed the three main DNA genealogy testing companies on my blog at http://lostrussianfamily.wordpress.com/2014/05/01/guide-for-making-the-best-choices-in-dna-testing/

> Thank you for those of you helping me already. This is the response that I received from 23&me.
> Thank you for contacting the 23andMe Team. At this time it is not possible to upload genetic data from other ancestry services into a 23andMe account.
> The 23andMe Personal Genome Service analyzes autosomal DNA, mitochondrial DNA, and Y-chromosome DNA (males only), and uses SNPs for both Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA analyses. Other genetic ancestry services may use STRs for the Y chromosome and sequencing for mitochondrial DNA.
