Gary,

A couple of notes related to the previous e-mails, the name Gerald suggested is in German "Mietschislaw-Boratin; its location on the Stumpp map is D5; it is northeast of Torczyn; in 1927 it had about 25 German farms and 80% of its population was German.

Mietschislawow is southwest of Torczyn; it was dissolved before 1928.
